#07 Smoky Mountain Wildflowers
The Smoky Mountains have become one of my favorite locations for photography, especially since I do not have to backpack seven to ten miles into the back country as I generally do in Wyoming's Wind River Range.
Spring brings an abundance of flowers along with Redbud and Dogwoods in bloom. While I particularly prefer to photograph around the numerous streams that cascade through the Smokies, I always take a day that is slightly overcast to photograph the wild flowers.
If one is looking for a place to take the family for a few days, springtime in the Smoky Mountains is hard to beat... enjoy!
