#15 Poppies

The hardest part of this photo was getting out of bed around 3 AM to pick the poppies so they would be nice and fresh for the shot. Moments after the sun broke the horizon and with reflectors set to the left side to bounce fill light back into the shadows, the image was produced. Black velvet was used for the background and angled just a little so the rays of the sun would not rake across the velvet... enjoy!

See image #51 that was my next shot of the poppies... same setup, but the image was shot through glass with water running down the surface.
