I raise orchids so I may film them during any stage of their flowering progression. While I must admit that this image of a Phalaenopsis Orchid took less preparation than possibly any flower photograph I ever made, it still required soft diffused light to give good saturated color that would help the pink explode off the black background... enjoy!
