#28 The Intruder
While photographing Tulips during a spring visit to Pella, Iowa, my eye immediately noticed this lone yellow Tulip that was stranded amongst a sea of red. To capture the beauty and texture in the image, I knew side lighting would be required, so I positioned my camera at an angle to the light falling across the petals. Since glare reduces the full color saturation of flower photography, my last step before tripping the shutter was to add a polarizer... enjoy!
