#34 Family
Shortly after tripping the shutter for image #44, I turned 180 degrees and viewed this scene that beckoned to be photographed. With the sun bouncing in and out of the clouds and shadows dancing across the landscape, I took a couple of minutes to simply view the changes that were taking place and ponder how I wanted to compose this composition. I knew that I wanted the Aspens in full sun against the dark clouds, and I also felt that a shadow behind the first ridge of snow would provide a noticeable separation instead of a flat foreground with no break between ridges.
Rarely am I lucky enough to turn around and capture another scene that I feel has the impact to be part of my portfolio... enjoy!
