#37 Resounding Trumpets (horizontal)
Nature/Fine Art Photographers often have the mind-set that great distances must be traveled in order to capture the perfect image. While I can not capture the splendor of the Colorado or Wyoming mountains from my backyard in Lee's Summit, Missouri, I can produce strong images from my geographic location that merit insertion into my portfolio.
The Morning Glories in this image were intentionally planted in my yard with photography in mind. While access was easy, the right composition was a day-by-day inspection, as blooms only last a few hours each morning.
Wind was a major factor and annoyance in photographing this image, as the slightest breeze would cause movement throughout the vines; however, my usual persistence paid off and I came away with an image that has vibrant color and is pleasing to the eye... enjoy!
