#55 Quite Solitude

This was a great morning in the Smoky Mountains as fog continued to hover over this little stream with not another person in sight nor even the noise of a motor vehicle as I was well off the beaten path.

I fired three second exposures for this image because the small stream that fed in from the right was running very slow, and I knew one second exposures that I usually use for faster moving water would not produce the foggy cotton candy look that I generally prefer.

This image will be hard to move from my top ten in my portfolio... enjoy!
