#61 Fall in the San Juan Mountains
Thanks for checking out this image... make sure you also look at image #63 which was shot from the exact location but with a moderate telephoto lens.
There is nothing better in life than fall photography in the high country of Colorado. Morning temperatures when I roll out of my tent are generally twenty-eight to thirty-two degrees, and by the time I finish with the good photographic light of morning, temperatures will be climbing towards fifty degrees. Then back to camp for breakfast and thirty minutes of relaxing before I start my daily routine of scouting new areas for possible landscape images.
I'm thrilled when I view a landscape image on my ground glass that has the potential of being included in my portfolio, but I can honestly say that I enjoy the scouting part of my daily routine for new images almost as much as I do the actual photography... enjoy!
